audite was included twice in the Quarterly Critics' Choice ( “Bestenliste 3/2009”) of the German Record Critics’ Award (“Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik”).

In the category ‘Historical recording’ the jury awarded exclusively releases by audite: The 13 CD box Edition Wilhelm Furtwängler with all recordings of the Berlin Philharmonic under Furtwängler done by the RIAS in post-war Berlin as well as the Complete RIAS recordings of the violin virtuoso Michael Rabin.

These lists provide a candid picture of new releases which, in the jury's opinion, are of outstanding importance when judged on purely artistic and audiophile grounds.
